RE: Public Policy Analyst

As a personal and professional user of EPIC and MyChart software, the opportunity to integrate my work experience in healthcare, my academic pursuit of public policy, and my pet projects leveraging technology. The potential to take on this new role comes at an opportune time as I am currently transitioning back to Wisconsin from St. Louis. I largely spent my 8 years there working within a large multi-state healthcare network at an in-patient psychiatric facility thar includes an adolescent and geriatric unit, along with my home unit, the acute adult unit.
Along with mental healthcare, since earning my Bachelor of Social Work my other focus has been invested in housing and domestic violence. Most of my roles involved providing psychosocial support, leading skills trainings, coordinating case management, and collaborative problem-solving. With graduate school, I decided to study more mezzo and macro issues with a Masters in Public Policy and Administration.
My Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Public Policy and Administration coursework have deepened my understanding of the structural systems shaping houselessness, while my direct service with individuals experiencing mental illness, substance use, and domestic violence - particularly within supportive housing settings - grounds my work in a collaborative and client-centered approach. I am confident this combination of organizational insight and frontline experience would allow me to make a meaningful contribution to Cornerstone’s mission of empowering communities through housing.
I hope you will find my diverse but complementary skillsets strongly align with your search, and I believe my background and particular mix of interests could help us make meaningful contributions towards your mission to improve the human condition.

THANK YOU
